We were also tasked to reflect on the activity by following a few guide questions:

What information codes, conventions and messages about our country is communicated through advertisements?

Through advertisements, information like what is happening will be known. Political, social and different kinds of issues will be known from these codes and conventions.

If you are to create a postcard for a place or organization of your choice, what technical and symbolic codes would you use to convey important information and create the desired impression? Why?

I will probably use iconic symbols that will be related to my organization. I will also try to put the important message I want to convey so that the purpose will be known by the target audience.

How can understanding of the technical and symbolic codes contribute to media and information literacy?

By understanding these codes, we will be able to understand what the author wants to convey. It will also improve our capacity to think making us becoming better at understanding symbols, codes, and conventions.
