Day 11: Indigenous Media and Information

The eleventh day of class for the second semester for Media and Information Literacy '17-'18. Our teacher, Mr. Rodel Mansilla Opiana, discussed the Indigenous Media and Information.

We had a starting activity, Pinoy Henyo, which is played by guessing the identified pictures by questioning other people. It discussed about the different indigenous media and information that is still being used.

After that activity, we discussed about the indigenous media and were tasked to construct a mind map about it. My work is shown below:

Our teacher discussed that indigenous media and information are very credible since they are near the source but are rarely circulated for profit. This type of media are channels for change, education, and development.

Before the ending the discussion, our teacher made us learn about the different educational resources which contains reliable and trusted information.
